As a committee member not only will you get to meet other enthusiastic art makers and lovers you’ll get free entry to ticketed events, half price drinks at all the events and will be privy to the ins and outs of running an arts and performance space that prides itself on a different kind of model.
Committee members are asked to commit to Conduit Arts for at least six months, attending monthly board meetings, giving passion and time to making programming decisions as well as thinking up ideas and future visions for events within Conduit’s scope. Board members take a very active role within the initiative as Conduit Arts has no paid staff. This means committee members also help to organise the events, run the bars, invigilate exhibitions and coordinate volunteer workshops.
